At 4R Digital, we help our clients and partners create and deploy digital solutions that open new markets and bring new revenue. We are about to embark on an exciting new product for a client in an emerging market and we are looking for a seasoned technical product manager who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

About the role

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will play a critical role in planning and executing the product strategy and roadmap. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, working with a small team at an innovative start-up, that is destined to achieve great things.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment and will take responsibility for all aspects of product management, ownership and analysis.  

This role will work closely with Development, Architecture and other stakeholders to drive the strategy for the product.


You will be responsible for managing the product through the entire product lifecycle, including refining the product vision, articulating or adjusting the product strategy, gathering market and business requirements and actualizing the product roadmap. Your efforts must be aligned with the company’s overarching business strategy and goals.

Candidates for this position must possess the drive and passion to own all aspects of the product and translate that passion into meaningful results.

This is a 100% remote role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Technology to drive strategy, bridging the gap between Technology and the Business
  • Lead the development of product strategy, roadmaps and high-level requirements that align with, and support company objectives
  • Engage with key stakeholders and prospects to understand and validate their evolving business needs and gather the necessary inputs to enhance the product
  • Owning, maintaining and prioritizing the backlog, conduct regular grooming sessions, and showcase features
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of new features
  • Using proven business analysis techniques to translate business strategy into a product strategy

Experience

  • 7-10 years of successful product experience, preferably in the fintech industry
  • Extensive experience in an agile environment in a remote setting

Skills

  • Comfortable working in environments where business needs are regularly evolving
  • Proven product management expertise working in a software development company
  • Strong strategic and financial acumen
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
  • The ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently, and the drive to lead teams to execute on defined vision
  • Technically savvy, able to work with development and design team members
  • Strong experience of backlog management, maintenance, user stories and process flows
  • Experience with Business analysis and Software Development toolsets such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps, MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Docs and MS Visio etc.
  • Experience with other BA artefacts e.g., -Business Process Flows -Use Case Diagrams -User Diagrams, Gap/SWOT analysis etc
